Couples only?

Therapy is not only for couples.

Relationship therapy was originally conceived to improve any sort of human interaction starting from those we find most difficult: within our family or at work.

A session with your daughter, friend, father... can make things "right" or help you dispense with the negative feelings deriving from an unhealthy relationship.

Our approach to relationship therapy is different than those you might have experienced before.

We tailor a plan on your individual needs and work through the stages of awareness and acceptance, we "stabilise" what we have accomplished, and cyclically deepen the therapeutic intervention until the difficulties "at the bottom" of your issue will be resolved.

We specialise in mixed couples neurotypical/ neurodivergent, and dealing with partners or relatives affected by mental health conditions. We perform risk assessments for abusive relationships.

The Psychology of Transformation

Pet Bereavement Counselling

How to cope with the death of your pet?

Losing a pet is unlike any other grief. Pets are not “just animals”; they are silent companions, teachers, and soul-mentors. They inspire us to be better people, reconnect us with nature, and remind us of the wonder and beauty of life. Their presence becomes deeply woven into our identity, and when they leave, it can feel as though part of ourselves is leaving with them.

In counselling, we will honour the bond you shared with your pet while creating space for your grief to be expressed and understood. I believe that death is not an ending but a transformation. It is one of the great mysteries of life, and it never severs the profound interconnection we share with those we love. Just as with people we grieve, your pet continues to live on - through your memories, your emotions, and the quiet ways they shaped your being.

Dr Melania Duca

Together, we can work on navigating this loss while embracing the idea that your pet’s presence will never truly disappear. They remain within you, continuing to guide and comfort you from the inside.

Pet bereavement counselling can help you:

  • Process the deep emotions of loss and love.

  • Honour the unique place your pet holds in your life story.

  • Understand grief as part of the cycle of life, not its end.

  • Reconnect with meaning, purpose, and the bond you still carry forward.

Your pet gave you the gift of unconditional love. Counselling can support you in keeping that gift alive, not as an absence but as a continuing presence within you.
