To treat personality disorders, complex and atypical presentations, we use different tools combined into a new method called Biopsychoanalysis®.
Biopsychoanalysis is a new approach to psychological therapy inspired by a modern theory of physics which puts into discussion the subjective experience of reality and recognises the Mind as a potentially limitless, creative and healing source.
Since 2018, Biopsychoanalysis is also a complementary medicine modality accredited by the IICT.
Its core structure is dialectical with an additional focus on the bodily felt-sense. It comprises variations of behavioural treatment, analytic therapy, biofeedback and cranial electrotherapy.
Biopsychoanalysis has been successfully applied to the treatment of:
"Emotional and impulsive" conditions such as
- Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), Borderline Type
- Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD);
"Suspicious" components of conditions such as
- Paranoid (traits)
- Schizotypal Personality Disorder (STPD)
- Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD);
"Anxious" components of conditions such as
- Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD).
All personality disorders exist on a spectrum, with varying levels of severity. Your symptoms may sometimes appear ambiguous.
In such cases, receiving a clear diagnosis can be difficult, and traditional treatments for comorbid symptoms such as anxiety or depression may not always be effective.
If you are unsure about the way you think and feel, we may be able to help.
You can request an assessment with us.
A formal diagnosis is not required to access our services; however, in some cases we may need to request one before continuing treatment. If so, we will refer you to a specialist and provide them with a detailed report about your case.
